KCHFT Community Learning Disability Service provide an integrated service in Alliance with our partners (Kent County Council and Kent and Medway Partnership Trust) together we always strive to make a difference by providing the best personalised health and social care to people.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Administrator Apprentice to join our clinical support team, based at Trinity house, Ashford. You will provide high-quality administrative support to our multi-disciplinary team which consists of Community Nurses, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist and the vision and hearing support team.

You will be working closely with the Senior Management Team and will be expected to travel across Kent to attend meetings and learn locality team's systems/processes.

The ideal candidate will be a school leaver who is keen to undertake an NVQ Level 3/4 as part of the role. We are looking for people with enthusiasm that are willing to learn and commitment in supporting the staff team who deliver quality care for people with learning disabilities.

You will have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and be fully committed to the Apprenticeship programme.

As a dynamic organisation, with a fast changing service provision we take a flexible approach in terms of what we are able to offer. This means that we reserve the right to change the hours detailed in this advert to full time or part-time to meet the service requirements. Please note that the salary stated is based on full time working and will be pro rata for part time working.

Agenda for Change posts based within the Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley areas also receive 5% high cost area allowance on top of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,017 and a maximum of £1,762. Please note that this element does not apply to bank positions.
