ESTATES DEPARTMENT

MAINTENANCE CRAFTSPERSON - FITTER

Rate of Pay - Agenda for Change Band 4 (£21,892- £24,157)

37.5 hour week, plus on-call, plus overtime if required.

Applications are invited for the post of Maintenance Fitter, at this busy General Hospital in Solihull, West Midlands. (A possible development opportunity for an experienced candidate)

The successful applicant must have:-

  • A City and Guilds Certificate (or equivalent) in a Mechanical discipline.

  • Served a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 2 years experience additional to any apprenticeship served. Previous Estates Hospital experience or experience working on steam systems, water systems, and ventilation plant would be an advantage.

    There will be a requirement to participate in the on-call rota for out of hours maintenance cover.
