Southern Health is one of the largest Foundation Trusts in the UK, specialising in mental health, adult and child community health and learning disabilities.

Due to unexpected relocation, we are excited to be able to advertise for full time band 6 vacancy within our Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapist service. The successful candidate will be part of an enthusiastic, supportive and forward thinking team. They will work within our Multidisciplinary Musculoskeletal Outpatient Therapy Service which covers a number of locations within Southern Health. This role will be based in Eastleigh (The Hub) and Romsey Community Hospital.

The Physiotherapy teams have a good working relationship with Clinical Specialists in the Orthopaedic Choice Triage Service, Pain Team Specialists, Podiatrists and Consultant Physiotherapist. We receive GP and Consultant referrals as well as internal staff self referrals.

Our service is committed to CPD and promoting evidence-based practise and a high standard of care throughout. We offer an extensive professional development programme for all staff. The successful candidate will have monthly supervisions with their supervisor, participate in the regular departmental In-service training programme, attend study days, have an opportunity to participate in the Orthopaedic Choice / Pain team apprenticeship scheme and have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and students.

There is currently no weekend or on-call working required. We offer flexible hours and support a flexible working policy based around service needs. Although this advert is for a full time post, part time hours will be considered for the right candidate and can be discussed at interview.
