The Apprentice will learn to develop an understanding of:
  • PD Ports strategy and core values
  • Key customer accounts
  • Account management
  • Business development and supporting the Commercial Team
  • Analysing sales and marketing objectives and identify how they can be translated into plans and actions for the organisation

  • Initial training develops individuals to be able to apply for Account Manager, or Business Development Manager vacancies. There are also operational roles supporting customer contracts along with the usual diverse opportunities that present themselves in a business of our size
  • The rate of progression in the business depends on each employee's capability, attitude and ambition
  • PD Ports will always give the skills and training required to progress in their roles
