Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Maintenance Assistant to join our multi-Skilled Estates team providing operational maintenance services to a large acute hospital and associated properties.

You will be a keen and enthusiastic team member with a recognised building services apprenticeship and have post qualification experience with in a complex building services environment.

Duties will include full range of maintenance and inspection tasks and will carry maintenance and repairs across a wide range of specialist systems.

Applicants should have a good all round ability and be capable of working on their own initiative to undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance and general building duties.

If you are successful in your application for this position your commencement date will coincide with the Trust's Induction programme held on a monthly basis. Attendance on the full induction programme is a mandatory requirement prior to starting in the work area. Therefore, if parts of this induction fall outside of the normal contracted hours of duty for this position, you will be requested to make arrangements to enable you to fully attend the Induction.

Please note that news starters with KGH are subject to a six month probationary period.
