Day to day duties will include:
  • Design and deliver coaching programmes suitable for students
  • Comply with current legislation
  • Utilise and collaborate with internal team members to support with best practice
  • Provide support to students
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of education standards, trends, frameworks, paradigms and contemporary influences.
  • Ensure the design and delivery of high-quality, inclusive curricular and extracurricular lessons that meet school standards
  • Delivers safe, inclusive and effective sessions
  • Evaluate sessions to monitor engagement, enrichment and whole child/person development
  • Monitor students development
  • Travel between schools

  • Microsoft office proficient (including Excel and Word).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work on own initiative.

  • Candidates must have previous sport related qualification / experience

Things to consider

The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £4.30 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 18 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.

This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employers address.Depending on your training you will only need to attend college in Nottingham for initial assessments, enrolment and a few other rare occasions.
