Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (Somerset CCG) is looking to recruit a Band 4 Team Administrator for the Urgent and Emergency Care team, which is part of the wider Operations and Commissioning Directorate.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has the drive to make a real difference to urgent and emergency care services in Somerset by providing a high level administrative and secretarial support to the Urgent and Emergency Care Team.

As Team Administrator for Urgent and Emergency Care, you will provide a comprehensive and professional administrative support service and be an integral member of the Team. Key responsibilities will include organisation of meetings, taking concise and accurate minutes and producing papers and other documents. You will have the ability to organise and prioritise work along with an understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality.

This post requires someone who has excellent administrative skills, the ability to work to deadlines and is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Candidates are expected to have a good understanding of the health and social care environment and it would be advantageous to have previous experience of working in a busy office/ administrative area.

The ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently is pivotal to the success of this post.

You will be able to demonstrate the attributes and capabilities required for the post as outlined in the job description and person specification.

This post is based at Somerset CCG HQ - Wynford House, Lufton Way, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 8HR. However, elements of the role may require you to travel to other locations across the county of Somerset to meet the needs of the service.

At present we are working remotely in alignment with government advice and will continue to support working flexibly to support the wellbeing of our workforce.
