Our Commitment to you is to help you gain a level 2 apprenticeship in Business Administration within a 16 month contract. Hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £165.00 p/w.

As part of the apprentice programme you will learn in the workplace and have off the job training.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice within Anaesthetics department; this role will support Junior Doctor Administrator who manages Anaesthetic Junior Medics Workforce.

Primary duties are to support CMG area providing clerical and administrative support to Junior Doctor Administrator.

To provide an effective and efficient administration support service including reception, records, preparation of medical documents and to work as part of a team providing a high quality service.

Facilitate the continuous provision of high quality administrative support to Junior Doctor Administrator whilst developing effective working relationships.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team. Within the role, you will always be part of a team so you must be adaptable, flexible, work well under pressure, have good communication skills and demonstrate effective learning when working with the team.

You should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office programmes including Word, Excel and Outlook. This role will enable you to learn and develop your skills and gain experience in a non-clinical role within a health care setting and give you a 'taster' of how developing a career within the National Health Service would work for you.

To qualify for the apprenticeship role the minimum criteria is:
  • that you must have GCSE in English and Maths
  • have not completed an apprenticeship at the same level and sector in the past
  • do not have a Degree in a similar or same subject
