This is a key supportive role within the planning department for a growing consumer business. An exciting opportunity for an organised, well detailed individual looking to gain further experience, with a goal of future development within the business.
This role would suit a recent university graduate looking at starting a career with a fast paced, fun, dynamic business. A degree within supply chain, logistics, business administration or similar would be advantageous as well as 6 moths+ office administration experience (this can be from a university placement)
Job Description:
Support the planning/supply chain department with administrative duties and reporting.
Identify anomalies within reports and highlight to the wider team.
Analyse any PO amendments and update systems to reflect these changes.
Work closely with the inventory analyst and support on reporting stock discrepancies.
Provide inventory position data to support monthly shipping requirements.
Assist with the upkeep of the UK Masterdata file.
Assist the demand planner with purchase requests through the ERP system and matching off PO's.
Support of other planning/supply chain activities when and where applicable.
Experience:
Administrative tasks
Ability to prioritize work and meet targets under pressure.
Good level of Excel knowledge; pivots & 'V' lookups.
The successful candidate:
Will have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Abilities to multitask.
Will be pro-active.
Have a positive attitude with a strong passion for what they do.
Excellent communication skills.
