What will the apprentice be doing?
Alongside our project engineers and construction managers, you will develop an understanding of the daily control, management and coordination of construction and civil engineering activities such as:
Surveying site, setting out for the operatives
Quality checking operatives work
Inspection test plans
Managing dailysite activities
Attending morning briefings
You will develop practical understanding of the importance of health and safety andenvironmental requirements
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be studying towards a Level 6 Civil Engineering qualification with LSBU.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will progress to Assistant Civil Engineer upon completion of the apprenticeship.
