Bolton NHS Foundation Trust was formed in 2008 and, in 2011, we became an integrated provider with community health services joining the trust. Covering a catchment area that also incorporates parts of Bury, Wigan and Salford, we deliver hospital and community based services from the Royal Bolton Hospital in Farnworth and from 20 health centres across Bolton, to a catchment population of 320,000 people. We have a CQC rating as good overall and we have some key areas of outstanding practice with an outstanding rating for being well led at every level.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard working therapist to join our Band 5 Occupational Therapy Rotation at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. The post is suitable for existing band 5 Occupational therapists, new graduates or those about to graduate.

The rotations are 6 monthly, rotating through hospital and community services which currently cover: Orthopaedics, Inpatient Therapy, Surgery, Stroke, ESD, Social Services, Community Falls and Therapy, Intermediate Care at home, Palliative Care, Intermediate Care Residential, Home first and Neuro Rehab

Successful applicants will participate in a preceptorship programme, regular supervision and appraisals, in service training and peer support group , in addition to the opportunity to develop and consolidate their clinical skills.

The post holder will work within multidisciplinary teams. You will be required to be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and its users which may include participation in a weekend/ bank holiday rota.

It is essential you are a driver with access to a vehicle for business use subject to the conditions of the DDA.
