Diabetic and High Risk Foot Service

ADVANCED PODIATRIST BAND 7

SALARY SCALE: £38,890-£44,503 pro rata

HOURS: 0.7 WTE 26.25 hours

An opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist with specialist clinical skills to join the Diabetic and High-Risk Podiatry service in Northamptonshire.

The successful post holder will be expected to have had significant experience of autonomous clinical decision making in high-risk patient caseload, within Community Podiatry and work in the Diabetes Foot Protection Programme.

Evidence of team leadership, excellent communication skills and high levels of demonstrable team working are required as a part of the development of the D&HR foot service in Northampton. You will have a particular interest in training, mentoring, preceptorship and providing evidence based CPD to the community team to enable attainment and currency of competency. You will be the principle contact for local Podiatry student placements and principal mentor and contact for Podiatry apprentices.

You will be required to work within an established team County wide.
