PETA Ltd are looking for an Business Administration Apprentice to join our clients hardworking team. You will be part of a small and friendly team that work closely together in a busy and often pressured environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a local cleaning company who have a proven track record of apprentice success. We require a highly motivated Business Administration Apprentice to help with the ever-expanding workload. The suitable candidate needs to be energetic, enthusiastic, dynamic, versatile and able to work in a pressured and driven environment, with the ability to multi-task.

Upon completion of the apprenticeship there will be a full-time role available at the business.

Training to be provided: Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15 month apprenticeship which includes 10 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

The main responsibility of the Business Administration Apprentice is to assist with day to day tasks within the Administration team, supporting departments including HR, Operational Support, Sales and Customer Service. Other duties will include:

Handling emails and phone calls in a professional manner
Completing administrative duties: photocopying/scanning, sorting, filing and paperwork archiving
Completing HR tasks including the administration of new starters, DBS applications, recruitment and uniform
Completing administrative tasks to support the Operations function including ordering consumables, recording customer audit information, admin for new and terminating customer sites
Ensuring accurate data is kept on the database
Taking customer complaints calls and recording relevant information on the complaints system
Managing enquiries from customers and staff
Managing upcoming projects
Completing data entry tasks
Ensuring conformance with Legislation within each department
Helping to manage the office facility and completing office support tasksEssential Skills

The ideal Business Administration Apprentice will have a passion for providing excellent customer service. They will also be confident with speaking on the telephone and have an excellent telephone manner. It is also important that applicants have the following skills and personal qualities:

Good IT skills; you need to be a MAC user as familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent organisational skills
Confident with numbers
Ability to use initiative and to be proactive
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent level of customer service skills
Self-motivation and confidence
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Be willing to learn
GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4 are required.Desirable Skills

Our client are a local based company in Waterlooville who specialise in providing cleaning services to personal customers within the PO post code. They believe life is too short to spend it cleaning???

Our client provides properly screened and vetted self-employed, part-time casual domestic cleaners to private households. The tasks performed would typically include normal household cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, washing down paintwork, cleaning toilets and bathrooms (and depending on franchise areas) ironing.
