We are looking for a high calibre recent graduate who is looking to start a career in field of chemical regulatory affairs and risk assessment. You will join an experienced multi-disciplinary team working in the field of chemical regulatory science; full training will be provided enabling you to fast track your career in this exciting and evolving area.
This team are experts in chemical risk assessment; they enable their global clients to effectively manage the risks posed by chemical to the environment and human health, and to fulfil their legal obligations under regulations such as REACH and CLP. You will be exposed to an ongoing training programme in REACH and chemical risk assessment, you will start working on challenging and interesting projects from day 1 and there is real opportunity to develop deep expertise and to move up through the company.
We are looking for a high calibre graduate with a lower degree in chemistry, biology, toxicology ecotoxicology or similar subject, ideally a higher degree (MSc/PhD) or other post graduate qualification. Some experience in chemical regulatory science would be ideal eg placement year / work experience / thesis etc; if not, you must be able to prove your interest and show the potential to be able to exceed in this field. This will be a desk-based role focussing on hazard and risk assessment of chemicals. Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital along with versatility and the ability to learn quickly.
