Apprenticeship: Cancer Business Administration Apprentice

Apprenticeship: 18 months duration

An opportunity has arisen in the Cancer Services Department for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administration Apprentice.

You will have opportunity to develop the skills that help provide a comprehensive and effective administrative service as well as gaining insight into the provision of education and development within the NHS.

The Cancer Services Department is an administrative team of individuals who are responsible for recording all cancer referrals and monitoring patients throughout their diagnostic and treatment pathways. This post will provide not only the general administrative experience and training required for your qualification but will also offer the opportunity to learn about and work with many of the departments and teams within the hospital, provide you with experience of multiple clinical IT systems and processes as well as develop knowledge of the diagnosis of Cancer and the treatment pathways.

Please note that we will not be able to shortlist any applicants with more than 50% prior learning/work experience of this apprenticeship standard.

Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.
