Our Multinational client in the Banking sector is looking for a graduate to join their team as an IT Applications Analyst to join a fast-paced team during a period of significant growth on a permanent basis with an opportunity to kickstart your career in banking with a salary of GBP20,000 on offer.
What does the role entail?
As the IT Applications Analyst, you will work as part of the IT team supporting the development of the Bank's Core applications. You will look to deliver on a range of projects, documentation, and technical documents for the bank. You will also recommend solutions for technical aspects in a broad sense for the systems. You will support the team and be trained in the role to support SQL Queries and Oracle Apex among a range of other technical aspects. You will also look to provide support on administration regarding technical documents and IT systems and ensure all necessary IT support is carried out to the required level of competence as set out by the Bank.
What skills will you have?
To be progressed for this Application Analyst position you will ideally have worked within a similar IT role as the one listed above, however, the client is happy to look at graduates, on top of this you will be a team player, as well as organised and thorough with your approach to getting stuck in into all tasks required of you. You will have experience of working under pressure and communicating details effectively and professionally with the staff of all levels. Proficiency in databases including SQL, exposure to databases and an understanding of Windows Servers as well as the Microsoft suite and a desire to make a career in banking is a plus.
