Customer Services Apprentice

We are seeking highly motivated and committed apprentice to join our integrated booking offices for MSK Physiotherapy and Podiatry at Mallard Court in Bridgwater or at Chard Hospital.

Working patterns and prefered base will be discussed at the interview.

The booking office administrators are extremely busy and varied roles requiring someone who is able to demonstrate the ability to cope with the demands of the services. It is essential that the post holder is an excellent team player and has the ability to prioritise and manage all requests in a timely manner.

The booking offices are proud of their efficiency and high levels of patient care, they provide all new team members with a supportive and friendly working environment to develop and grow knowledge to enhance their customer service skills.

The majority of the role is telephone based and the successful post holder needs to have excellent telephone skills and on occasion be able to deal with difficult conversations.

The post holder will work closely with other Administrative & Clerical staff, MSK physiotherapists and Podiatrists across the county.

College Information

As part of your learning you will complete an educational pathway with Bridgwater and Taunton College, which we will fully support you with.

Bridgwater and Taunton College is located across two primary sites but the majority of your delivery will be supported online, through asynchronous study. You will be allocated a college academic mentor for the duration of your programme who will work with both you and your line manager to identify opportunities for growth and development and you will also attend a series of workshops to support knowledge development in business administration.

This is a fixed term contract for 18 months, gaining valuable work experience in Customer Services and a Level 2 qualification.

Apprentice Salary:

1st year Apprentice - all age groups

£8,385 per annum (£4.30 per hour)

Age dependant after the 1st year - if applicable.

19 - 20 years: £12,792 per annum, pro rata

21 - 22 years: £16,302 per annum, pro rata

23 and over: £17,374.50 per annum, pro rata

Please note: If you are successful in being selected for an interview, the College will hold an initial telephone assessment, if selected you will then move to a formal interview with the Service Manager at a later date.
