Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on lives, health and the economy. The UK Government and its medical and scientific advisors have been clear that the only safe and sustainable way out of the Covid-19 pandemic is through a vaccination programme.

As the Site Clinical Lead you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of vaccinations for the COVID-19 vaccine(s). The post holder will undertake a site lead role, overseeing a mass vaccination site in Norfolk & Waveney.

In particular, the post holder will be responsible for:
  • Provision of site leadership in the provision of a high quality, efficient and effective service.
  • Provision of leadership to clinical supervisors and supporting in the management of staff.
  • To lead in planning and implementing the immunisation programme, oversee staffing for their site and supporting safe staffing across the programme..
  • Commitment to supporting the strategic leadership of the mass vaccination programme.
  • Develop initiatives, collaborating as necessary internally and externally, to increase uptake.
  • Ensure that team working and staff management is undertaken in line with Trust values.
  • Develop morale and motivation through effective personal leadership, ensuring views and decisions are communicated across the management and service structure.
  • Management of Annual Leaveallocationforthe Hubclinical team.
  • Ensuringcompliance ofthesiteclinical team with mandatory andstatutory training.

As the Trust is a multi-site organisation you may be required to work at any of the Trust sites and you may need to change your normal place of work, either temporarily or on a permanent basis, as a result of development or reorganisation of Trust services.

As part of our safe recruitment practice pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed which may include a Disclosure and Barring check and where the position requires you to drive as part of your everyday duties, you will be asked to validate your driving licence online via the DVLA. We will also use technology to ensure the documents you provide are genuine.

Successful applicants to posts at band 6 or above for which a DBS check is required, will be asked to pay for this as a condition of their job offer (£44 for an Enhanced Check or £27 for a Standard Check). This payment will be deducted from their first month's salary unless a longer pay back period is agreed with the appointing manager. This will not apply to successful applicants who are registered with the DBS Update Service and in possession of the disclosure certificate, for whom an online status check will be undertaken.
