Brief Description of the Role:

Do you want to work as part of a creative, collaborative and forward thinking team, where all ideas are welcomed? Then come and join us! We are looking for an Apprentice Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Developer to join us, playing a pivotal role in supporting the continued expansion of the online learning agenda within the Trust. This role is a four year fixed term post and the applicant will be expected to undertake an Integrated Apprenticeship Degree in the following subject: BA Hons Creative Digital Design, as an integral part of their role. More information on the remit of this will be given at interview.

Online learning has evolved significantly within the Trust over the last couple of years with the appetite to further enhance our Technology Enhanced Learning portfolio going from strength to strength.

Reporting to the Technology Enhanced Learning Lead, your role will primarily be focused on the design, development, implementation and evaluation of innovative online learning solutions, incorporating multimedia and mobile technologies as part of a blended approach. You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues across the Trust to help guide and shape their ideas into high quality online learning content. You will also be expected to support the administration and further development of the Education Department's website and YouTube channel.

Ideally you will possess a flare for design and creativity and a passion for using this in a digital format. You will be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and act as a resource in supporting staff to access or design digital content. Each week will be different you will need to be able to manage multiple work projects simultaneously whilst being able to quickly switch from designing a learning module to supporting a staff member to facilitate an online class.
