Ryanair are now recruiting for our 2021 Aircraft Maintenance Fitter - Technician (Fixed & Rotary wing) programme.

What can you expect?

  • Over a 2 year programme you will complete a fully approved CAT A1 course based at our Stanstead operations with additional training to be completed at LRTT Ltd based at their specialist training facility.
  • You will be supported throughout the programme as you complete a Part-66 Category A1 fully-approved course on route to fulfil the Apprenticeship Standard for Aeronautical Engineering Technician - Aircraft Maintenance Fitter (Fixed & Rotary Wing). Gaining knowledge, essential practical skills and a depth of capability to enable you to enter the exciting and challenging aircraft maintenance engineering environment safely.
  • Your passion will be turned into practical experience in an exciting live environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop all of the key skills required to start your career in aircraft engineering.
  • Depending on your performance, you will be given the opportunity to move up to participate in a full Category B apprenticeship.

What do we need to see?

  • You meet the apprenticeship eligibility criteria.
  • A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent including English, Maths and a Science subject.
  • A passion for aviation and engineering is a must and any experience with mechanical or electrical equipment would be an advantage.
