  • The post holder will work closely with GMP Production Scientists, Quality Control staff and Quality Assurance staff to facilitate the efficient delivery of cellular therapy products for clinical use.
  • Work in aseptic suites to GMP standards, and within microbiological safety cabinets using techniques such as cell culturing, to manufacture cellular therapy products for clinical use
  • Assist in the labelling, packaging, storage and shipping of cellular therapy products and maintenance of product inventory
  • Perform QC assays as part of product release, including use of flow cytometry, ELISA and ELISPOT assays, microscopy techniques, SDS electrophoresis
  • Aid in the preparation of technical reports and other clinical and GMP required documentation including but not limited to batch production records (BPRs) and SOPs.
  • Plan and undertake validation of new equipment used in GMP manufacture
  • Undertake daily GMP production housekeeping activities and administration, including but not limited to cleaning, stock control, ordering materials and managing suppliers

  • 80 UCAS points, including a B in A-level Biology (or equivalent)
  • Strong motivation to work in the industry of Advanced Therapies
