We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to apply for a 12 month fixed term contract or be seconded to work in the Post COVID19 team as part of the MY Therapy Community Rehabilitation Team.

The post will involve managing the Occupational Therapy requirements for this group of patients referred to the MY Therapy service.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside our Band 7 Specialist Post COVID19 Physiotherapist within the Respiratory specialty section of the service. The post holder will assist in continuing to develop this specialist area of the team and provide the Occupational Therapy intervention for this group of patients accepted onto the service.

The post will be an evolving one and there will be opportunity to support the B7 Physiotherapist in continuing to develop the Post COVID19 pathway so will involve both clinical and service development opportunities.

The work will involve:

· Fatigue management including working through an established 6 week pathway

· Vocational rehabilitation

· Attention and memory strategies

· Referral onto other appropriate services as required

Much of the current work is carried out over the phone or virtually via Attend Anywhere but clinics at both Pinderfields Hospital and Church View Health Centre are available and of course seeing patients in their own home is encouraged where required.
