South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Programme Manager to lead and support the implement a new market leading Digital Health Record (Alcidion), which will be embedded across the Trust in order to improve quality and safety and to enable efficient working practices, leading to better patient experience.

The Alcidion Programme forms an integral part of an innovative and exciting transformation programme that will provide a comprehensive digital experience, incorporating the full range of paper-light medical and nursing information and notation required to deliver world class patient care.

We are implementing the Alcidion suite of products along with the Better Meds Electronic Prescribing solution. This work will align not only with the local trust digital strategy of improving patient care through the use of digital technologies and transformation, but also with the wider ICP and ICS strategy of greater connectivity across the Integrated Care System (ICS), while serving nationally mandated requirements. This programme of work will be clinically driven to ensure transformational change is embedded and adopted in South Tees.

The suite of products will include bedside observations, electronic prescribing, assessment, care plans and patient flow, providing enhanced clinical decision-making support and enable the recording of outcome information as standard. The Programme Manager will work closely with the Chief Clinical Information Officers, the programme team, the programme Benefits/Change Manager and the supplier and will play a pivotal role in managing the successful delivery of the programme, ensuring milestones are met, risks appropriately managed and the benefits of the system are measured and realised.

This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about large scale, systemic digital transformation and who wants to be involved in helping South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust to improve its digital maturity bringing it in line with the aspirations the trust has had for a number of years.
