Purpose of the role:

This role sits within the Project Management Office (PMO) whose purpose is to successfully initiate, plan, design, execute, monitor, control and close assigned projects and programmes for the Harrier LLC group. The department is aligned with IT projects, however, will often support the wider Harrier business in delivering change projects and programmes.

This Apprentice role is in designed to provide support and assistance as required by the PMO team and the wider business on assigned projects in addition to their learning and development.

Key responsibilities & tasks:
  • Project note taking, write up and sharing of notes with stakeholders of projects
  • Updating the statuses of activities in project boards and liaising with owners for updates
  • Provide assistance to colleagues in the PMO in drafting necessary project documents
  • Support the business with the process of adding new projects to the backlog and in preparation for project initiation
  • Shadow Project Managers and Business Analysts in the PMO to craft their skills
