Reporting directly to the Investment Operations Team Leader, you will provide support to the Investment Management and Financial Advice Teams. This will include responsibility for the efficient management in all aspects of investment and portfolio administration whilst adhering to stringent regulatory oversight.

This will include but not be limited to:
  • Monitoring of daily data/price feeds & verification upon completion
  • Client cash & asset reconciliations
  • Managing client cash positions and withdrawal request
  • Timely production of client and regulatory reporting
  • Settling trades in multiple asset classes within specified deadlines
  • Corporate Action monitoring and maintenance including dividends
  • Processing investment transactions, instructions and key administrative tasks through the organisation's IT platforms in accordance with quality standards, regulations and compliance obligations
  • Maintaining account records accurately to reflect correct and up to date information

What we'll need from you:

This is an apprentice role for which specific training and industry certification sponsorship will be provided and appropriate study time allocated. Therefore, the business is seeking to identify a candidate with the correct potential who is self-motivated and eager to develop. Prior/related industry experience will be a benefit but is not essential.

  • A willingness to study towards industry recognised qualifications as part of your role with dedicated study and exam leave
  • Demonstrable ability in using Microsoft Excel in the workplace, with strong skills in numeracy and accuracy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to deal with high volumes of work, as well as show attention to detail when instructing high value transactions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in both a team and alone. Youmust be able to manage and prioritise your own workload and meet deadlines

On successful completion of your apprenticeship you may be offered a full-time permanent contract with IM Asset Management. And the learning doesn't stop there.
