We are looking to add to the team talented and forward-thinking Part 2 Architectural Assistant's with experience in multi-unit residential housing and mixed-use Urban Regeneration who want to be part of our busy & expanding team. A key interest in sustainability, efficiency and placemaking is a must, as is a degree of UK based experience. This is a practice where our team can grow, and where culture is as important as strategy.

Daily duties:
  • On Monday Mornings we have a practice meeting which mostly looks at resourcing. Every staff member discusses their availability for the week.
  • CPDs typically take place on Wednesdays.
  • You will have the opportunity to work across both Domestic and Commercial projects.
  • Occasional site visits - we believe this is important for growth at this stage.
  • We will regularly review your progression and you will have a mentor who will work with you to ensure you are getting what you want out of your time with us.
  • Regular team meetings throughout the week for each project.
  • You will receive training in relevant design software.


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • The ability to work within a team, as well as working independently
  • Must be able to take initiative
  • A good working knowledge of Adobe suite is essential
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confident in using Revit


Personal qualities

We are looking for someone friendly who is able to work efficiently in a team and can take initiative.

Desired qualifications

  • Recognised first degree in architecture, 2.2 or above,or
  • Level 6 Architectural Assistant apprenticeship certificate,or
  • Recognised first degree in architecture which is notified to the European Commissionplus
  • Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs A-C including minimum B in maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)


Future prospects

We consistently have staff returning to work for us after completing their studies, so there is potential to stay on with our growing practice. We also have an internal mentorship scheme to help progress our team's skills, knowledge, and confidence all the way up to Associate level.
