What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be working within a large community in our Buying Operations function who support the Buyers and partner with our Merchandising teams. You will support the buying teams with purchase order writing, flow of goods, vendor meetings, strategy and style out preparation, create and run department reports, sample coordination and any other ad hoc administration duties.
You'll be working with friendly, passionate people. Supported by a Buying Operations buddy will show you the ropes.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training at the Fashion Retail Academy will take place twice a month. You'll be working towards an accredited Level 4 Apprenticeship qualification in Buying and Merchandising. Off the job training and learning delivered by us throughout the course within our Head Office and our Stores.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Our apprenticeship Programme takes approximately 18-24 months to complete this is where you'll get to experience Retail in real time. Giving you the skills to develop and further your career. Learn how to be a Buyers Assistant. You'll be coached and mentored throughout our programme and by the time you've finished, you'll be ready to take on the role in Buying Operations, or even a step towards the Graduate Scheme, as well as the option to work in other functions across the business.

Your support hub includes; Line Manger, Development Supervisor, Fashion Retail Academy Tutor, TJX Mentor, TJX Buddy, Dedicated time to complete off the job learning and self-study activities / assignments
