This is an office and site-based role

We are looking for an Apprentice Associate Project Manager to join our friendly, highly valued team

You will be a part of a project team delivering works spread over a number of contracts and sectors which is critical to the recent growth of the business.

You will be working within a Projects team comprising of a Project Manager and Qualified Quantity Surveyor.

The team manage a portfolio of works with a value between £50,000 - £5,000,000.00.

You will provide assistance and knowledge, whilst playing an integral role in the successful delivery of all tenders and works on site.

Every project needs to be managed to ensure its success, an associate project manager knows what needs to be achieved, how it will be achieved, how long it will take and how much it will cost, and works with the project team to achieve the required outcomes.

Duties will include:
  • Contacting surveyors and exyernal clients
  • Creating customer accounts on internal database
  • Visiting sites with the Project Manager and or Quantity Surveyor
  • Usingexcel spreadsheets to manage project costs
  • Planning and drawing up step by step project plans

  • GCSE Maths and English A- D or 9*-3or equivalent
  • Construction based training preferred if undertaken but not essential

Things to consider

This is an office and site-based role.

General working hours will be 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.Inclusive of training/college.

Initially the role will be office based but there will be travel involved so the preferred candidate would have a driving licence or own means of travel but this is not essential.
