Things to consider
- Use Company preferred software to produce working 2D drawings for glazed facades for ongoing projects
- Submission of completed design drawings to our manufacture department or for client approval
- Collaborating with others to solve problems
Job learning/Training:
- How to understand/read drawings produced by architects, engineers & other trades interfacing with our works
- Learning to understand building specifications andglazing specifications
- Progressively learning building regulations andBritish standards
- Learning to understand how the glazing systems we supply are constructed. The glazing systems capabilities. Also familiarising with manufacturer's literature/manuals

- English & maths at GCSE Grade C/4 (or above/equivalent). If you do not already meet the qualifications criteria, SMB College Groupwill invite you to take initial assessments which will indicate which level you are currently working at. These tests are not timed and completed in a relaxed environment
- Ideal applicants would have basic knowledge of working with AutoCAD, however, full training will be provided
- Applicants should be proficient with Microsoft programs
