We are currently looking for an organised, creative and passionate Marketing Executive to join our client's Marketing and Communications Team.
As Marketing Executive, you will work with the Marketing Manager and wider team to assist with the delivery of promotional and communications activities that contribute to raising the profile of the destination, commercial council operations and seafront for the economic benefit of the town, residents and council.
This role will assist with the development and implementation of marketing, promotions and advertising campaigns across digital and social platforms, track performance data, co-ordinate the production and distribution of trade and consumer promotional materials, including leaflets, sales materials, signage, newsletters and presentations.
A second function of the role is to provide sales/account support primarily for the BCP Tourism Partnership scheme, reaching sales targets to help fund destination marketing activities. You will ensue the three destination websites are up to date, including partner business pages and what's on event pages.
Strong communication skills are essential for this role as you will work closely with internal teams and also help to manage relationships of external agencies and third-party suppliers.
Using your attention to detail, you will proof a wide range of documents, copy and images to an exceptionally high level in a quick timeframe.
Copywriting skills are essential as you will need to be hot on spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging copy. You will be able to work to tight deadlines, working quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a self-starting attitude, spotting opportunities for improvement and demonstrate high levels of energy and passion for the role.
37 hour week
Remote and working within the office so must be based in Bournemouth.
