JOB SPECIFICATION: Graduate Account Manager, Trainee Account Manager, Junior Account Manager - Foodservice
We are currently working with a wide range of foodservice businesses, (a mixture of huge single site independents and multi-site nationals), whilst our existing relationships are goo, we want to make them stronger. You'll get to know your clients inside and out, create true partnerships and grow the share of wallet along the way.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, and with guidance you will take responsibility for developing the implementation of specific customer account plans; achieving account profitability and sales targets; serving as the primary account contact and providing account administration to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term continuity of supply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Graduate Account Manager, Trainee Account Manager, Junior Account Manager - Foodservice
?? Showcasing our range of fresh, ambient and frozen meat products to key stakeholders / influencers.
?? Engage with a wide range of decision makers, these can included Chefs and Development Teams to Food and Beverage professionals, through to Owners, Sales Teams and Procurement.
?? Maintain an excellent level of customer service, safeguarding customer satisfaction and retention.
?? Supporting the account management and food development team with presentations and events.
?? Negotiating and implementing KPI's / SLA's for ensuring that both budgeted sales targets and account profitability are achieved.
?? Partnering with your customers sales teams to share best practice/knowledge and to try to influence them to sell / champion your products over the competition.
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate Account Manager, Trainee Account Manager, Junior Account Manager - Foodservice
As detailed above, we are foodies, we need you to be a foodie too! Ideally you will have some experience of working with a food or drink manufacturer, possibly even been a keen chef or worked in a kitchen in your early career, maybe just at home - either way you will love food and the role it plays in every day life.
You will most likely have:
?? A Business Degree with a commercial mindset and an aspiration to get into sales
?? Have a persuasive, influencing manner getting others to 'buy in' to you. We are keen to learn how you develop long lasting client relationships.
?? Most likely had some exposure to the HORECA sector (Hospitality / Restaurants / Catering) and/or have some knowledge of how either foodservice or a distribution relationship works.
?? An understanding an idea of how to grow and develop accounts, via margin, profitability, and new product inception.
