Opportunity for a graduate engineer to work for an established manufacturing company that has secure order books through to 2028. The site is part of a large global group of companies and this is a new role with them created to further enhance and improve their use of modern technology.
The graduate engineer will work closely with the technical manager and IT manager on-site utilising programming languages such as C++ and Python and technology such as Raspberry Pi to make improvements to existing manufacturing processes and help to implement new technologies and equipment.
As the graduate engineer, your duties will include:
Working within a production/manufacturing environment on projects
Utilising programming languages such as C++ and Python to programme, automate and Improve existing manufacturing processes
Utilising technology such as Raspberry Pi to improve processes
Being involved in the installation of new equipment and technology
Supporting the IT Manager in the maintenance of IT equipment and technology onsiteTo apply for the graduate electronics engineer role, you will need:
A degree-level qualification in a relevant subject such as electronics engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
Ability to use programming languages such as Python or C++
Familiarity with Raspberry Pi technology
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirableIn return, the graduate engineer will receive a salary of GBP22,000-GBP25,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, etc.
