This is a professional training programme involving on the job training at the University plus off the job training with a training provider which may include online learning, course attendance, directed self study and employer led training.
We have an extensive digital and strategic change portfolio which will support the delivery of the strategic vision for the University. A growing portfolio which aims to transform the student and staff experience through IT-enabled business change. You will work with other business analysts, project managers and development teams to understand business problems and the changes required to improve business processes and systems for this portfolio.

We are not expecting you to have business analysis experience, just the willingness to learn and develop through undertaking theBusiness Analyst apprenticeship standard. You will need to commit to undertaking and completing the apprenticeship as part of this role. If you are not already familiar with apprenticeships and what it would mean to be an apprentice, then you can find out more with theInstitute of ApprenticeshipsandGovernment website. The nature of an apprenticeship requires there to be at least 12 months new learning, so if you have undertaken similar training or have existing experience with business analysis activities then we would need to check with the training provider whether you would be eligible.Personal qualities
