The main duties will include:
  • Identify, collate and migrate data from Microsoft Office applications into Power BI and Microsoft Forms
  • Manipulate and link different data sets as required
  • Create data within Power BI which can then be used for business improvement
  • Work with different parts of the business to compile data within Power BI which can be reviewed and used across the business
  • Assist departments in creating the best platform for data analysis
  • Assist production of Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Assist with data quality checking
  • Assist with the production of a range of ad-hoc and standard data analysis reports
  • Summarise and present the results of data analysis to a range of staff making recommendations

Desired skills

  • Competent & skilled user of Microsoft Power BI and its applications
  • Proficient & skilled user of Microsoft Excel and Word programs
  • Experience working with SQL
  • Able to produce reports from MS Power BI using our business data
  • Identify, collate and migrate data from Microsoft Office applications into Power BI and Microsoft Forms
  • Manipulate and link different data sets as required
  • Keen attention to detail


Personal qualities

  • Interest in data management and analysis
  • Wants to grow theirexperience and knowledge of MS Power BI
  • Willing to learn and participate in additional training as necessary
  • Confident enough to work individually and as part of a team
  • Not afraid to ask questions


Desired qualifications

  • Must have full valid UK driving licence (due to the nature of the role and possibility of travelling between different sites)
  • Experience working with large data sets and creating analytical reports
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification in IT, Admin or Data Management. -Qualification relevant to role
