An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist to join our warm, dynamic and innovative Psychology team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registred Psychologist looking for diversy and flexibility of coveringthree services across Cygnet, this role would also be suitable for a newly qualified applicant.

Cygnet Churchill:

Cygnet Churchill, in south London, is a 57 bed inpatient mental health hospital for men. Cygnet Churchill has three wards including an emergency acute admissions service (Juniper Ward) and two high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services(Maple Court and Mulberry Court).

Cygnet Bostall House:

Cygnet Bostall House provides assessment and treatment for men living with a learning disability and associated complex needs. The team can also support those who have mental health needs and behaviours that may challenge.

Cygnet Old Leigh:

Old Leigh House supports men living with a learning disability and complex needs. The team can also support those who have mental and physical health needs, as well as behaviours that may challenge and a history of offending.

The Role:

The applicant will be a HCPC registered Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist with a keen interest in working with people with complex mental health needs, and the ability to engage them positively. This post is suitable for a candidate who appreciates variety and a certain degree of autonomy, as it involves working across three Cygnet sites: Churchill, Bostall House and Old Leigh House. The candidate must be able to travel.

Reporting directly to the Consultant Psychologist, the successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team, will manage a small caseload at Bostall House and Old Leigh House, and will also play a role in training, supervision and service development. The post holder will apply skills and expertise in clinical and risk assessments, collaboratively develop formulations and care plans, facilitate group and individual psychological
