THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 6 MONTHS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE.

An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term position until 31/3/2022, further funding may be available in the next financial year to extend this further.

This position is for the post of ICT Voice Services Support Analyst within the Voice Services Team of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

ABUHB currently operates an AVAYA / Nortel environment for both Voice and Data Network and is currently transitioning to a Cisco Unified Communications Manager platform including Cisco Call Manager and Cisco ARC call attendant for Operator services. The team manage approximately 9,000 telephony handsets, multiple high available telephony systems and older legacy devices.

This fix term position would largely be to assist the team with the coordination, planning and transitioning of legacy telephony at our critical acute hospitals to Cisco Telephony including the integration into the Cisco UC platform.

Additionally you may carry out activities in line with this position within the ICT Voice Team and Technical Services Team. You will provide support to maintain the security, integrity and availability of ABUHB telecommunications service which provide core clinical services. This can include UPS, Switch, PBX and maintenance for one or more of technical areas within the team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
