Hours - 37.5 - Monday - Friday

We are looking to recruit a new Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to work as part of the specialist Pulmonary Rehabilitation team.

We are looking for a friendly, helpful and motivated person with substantial previous experience as an AHP Band3 or equivalent working in the NHS

You will assist the Respiratory Physiotherapists in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team to deliver tailored high quality exercise and education programs Monday - Friday 0830 - 1630 for people with respiratory conditions who experience symptoms of breathlessness, helping people to better understand and manage their condition/s and symptoms within a variety of settings including hospital, community and patient homes.

The applicant will have a keen interest in Pulmonary Rehabilitation and/or respiratory care for which continued professional development will be actively encouraged and supported.

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. After you complete this one and a half day of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.

The candidate will be expected to work flexibly across multiple sites within the Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland Localities.
