Technology Account Executive / Senior Account Executive - B2B & B2C PR Agency

Salary GBP25,000 -GBP30, 000 per annum

Based in the Kingston upon Thames area

We are seeking an Account Executive with agency experience (Tech PR), a passion for the tech industry and outstanding written English and project management skills to join a local, dynamic PR agency. You will be a team player with strong organisational skills and good events / media skills.

Person Specification: -

  • 12-24 months' experience in PR, preferably with an agency background
  • Evidence of time manage skills and being able to juggle multiple tasks and busy workloads
  • Evidence of media relationships and pitching results
  • Experience of writing press materials
  • Team working and communication abilities essential, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative
  • Competent MS Office skills


Specific media contacts within B2B technology would be advantageous

  • Ambition in abundance
  • Active in social networking sphere
  • Genuine interest and experience in the technology sector
  • A willingness to get involved in wider company initiatives
  • Keen to develop new ideas and practices

Key Responsibilities: -

This is a hands-on role across your allocated client accounts nurturing direct relationships with client contacts; Excellent training opportunities are provided and you be actively encouraged to attend events and conferences to build on your market knowledge and expertise.

  • Day to day contact with target media to generate coverage opportunities and positive ongoing relationships with key journalists
  • Collating coverage and selling results back to clients in a timely manner
  • Direct contact and visibility with clients, with responsibility for specific campaigns and activity plans
  • Writing a variety of copy, from press releases and case studies, to blog posts and market reports
  • Active involvement in social networks on behalf of clients and the agency
  • Research support for new business pitching - media audits, vox pops, internet research
