We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated senior nurse who can demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate staff. You will be a team player and have excellent communication and organisational skills and a positive can do attitude to always strive for the best for your patients and staff.

You will have significant experience in the identification and management of sleep disordered breathing including CPAP initiation for new and review patients. The ability to interpret oximetry and more complex multi-channel diagnostic studies, and knowledge and experience of the management of non-invasive ventilation, Adaptive support ventilation and BiPAP is essential. Experience of delivery of group clinics and remote monitoring (e.g. ResMed Airview) is also desirable.

You will be confident in dealing with patients with diverse and sometimes complex medical conditions in a sensitive and caring manner, and be confident in communicating with a wide range of medical and non-medical personnel.

You will actively participate in ensuring effective and timely resource management and work collaboratively and co-operatively on a day-to-day basis with others to ensure that service needs are met. You will assist in audit, research, and development of the service and be able to enhance patient pathways with innovation/ improvements based on current research/ guidance.

You will be expected to attend the leadership development programme, and the Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers. This programme aims to:

• Explore leadership within the NHS
• Promote Trust Values and Behaviours
• Develop your Leadership effectiveness and skills
• Practitioner level in quality improvement, equipping you with the skills to champion, lead and complete quality improvement within your role

After you complete this four and a half days of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses dependent upon your role and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
