36 hour post

We are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Ward Clerk to join our team on a busy Emergency Admission Unit.

The successful candidate will have to have Level 2 English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above. As a part of your apprenticeship you will be required to study Customer Service Level 2 delivered at James Cook Hospital.

You will be required to assist all staff in providing reception, admin and clerical support to the SDEC teams, which includes both Medical & Surgical admissions.

Leadership and Improvement Training

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers Novice leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust.

The appointed candidate must successfully undertake a pre-employment medical prior to starting work.
