Are you passionate about Information Security and Business Continuity? We're looking for an organised and motivated Information Security Analyst to join us and play a key role in supporting the development, implementation, maintenance and review of our Information Security Management System (ISMS).

The role will be based in the NHSBSA's Information Security & Governance Team based at our Stella House office, Newcastle upon Tyne.

We welcome applications from individuals wishing to become an Apprentice and gain experience in information security within the NHSBSA. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification with some additional recognised information security qualifications (BCS Certificate in Information Security Management Principles) and (Certified Security Risk Manager).

You will be enrolled with a local education provider and will be required to complete your Level 4 Diploma in Cyber Security Risk Analyst within the duration of the placement.

Working closely with the Information Security Risk and Business Continuity Manager, you will coordinate and support the delivery of the information security and business continuity programme, primarily focused on information security, information assurance and business continuity management activities and related processes within the NHSBSA.

You will have previous theoretical and/or practical experience of what is required in an information security risk management focussed role in a NHS environment, including relevant security standards and best practice. You will have previous experience of managing the collation of data and information for further analysis to be undertaken to arrive at the best outcome.

Previous experience in an information security or business continuity support role would be advantageous.
