Have you got 1 to 2 years post qualification experience working for a main contractor?

Have you been given empty promises of training and professional development in your current role?

Do you feel like your career in quantity surveying is going nowhere fast?

Well keep on reading as we are recruiting for a top notch, privately owned main contractor who have won numerous awards for their professional development and training programmes.

Our client currently boasts a turnover in excess of GBP130M and operate within the public sector of construction works, which include social housing refurbishment, residential regeneration, education and community projects as well as healthcare and hospitals.

Due to an increase in the scope of works for an existing project, our client now requires an Intermediate and / or Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

You will initially be working on two projects which covers cladding remediation and a framework contact which includes roof repairs, structural refurbishments and window replacements in East London, for a well-known housing association.

You will report into a Project Lead Quantity Surveyor who will mentor and support you extensively in your role. The position will be office based with regular site visits. You will ideally have some knowledge or prior experience in both JCT and Framework contacts.

You will ideally be degree qualified and have 2 years post qualification experience.

In return our client is offering a competitive salary, with a car / travel allowance, 26 days annual leave, pension and health care.

They also have a structured professional development programme with ongoing training and support with MCIOB or RICS accreditation.
