In a Nutshell:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Graduate to join our team at Vistry Partnerships North West, at our Warrington office. As our Finance Graduate you will be involved in all aspects of finance from supporting the ledger teams to producing long-term forecasts and monthly management accounts, ensuring timely, quality financial information is provided and maintained in accordance with group procedures and policies. We are also looking for someone to join our team who wants to develop and study an accounting qualification as this role comes with a clear route of progression. We will provide full support for CIMA/ACCA and your role will grow with our business as you advance through your qualifications.

What we would like from you:

Key Responsibilities -

Support with the production of forecasts and monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
Assisting with JV reporting
Completion of regular weekly and monthly management information.
Monitor regional performance against management plans to ensure that all results, trends and risks are clearly understood and communicated.
Control of general overheads and raising of accruals, prepayments and relevant journals.
Monthly Sales and Marketing cost reviews
Liaison with the Sales Department to ensure an accurate reconciliation of all sales incentives is maintained
Calculate the build incentive scheme reward.
Regular chasing and reporting of outstanding sundry debtors.
Raising ad hoc Sales invoices
Raising purchase orders and coding invoices for relevant overhead costs
Maintain and update the regional financial systems and assist in their development
Ad Hoc reporting and generation of information to support other departments
Supporting the finance team as requiredHealth Safety and Environment

Ensure you have read the Company's health and safety policies and procedures observe them at all times.
Reporting any accidents or near misses immediately to your manager and record them in the accident book.
Ensure your workplace is kept tidy and any hazards are eliminated or reported to your line manager.
Wear appropriate protective clothing on site at all times.
Attends all health and safety training as required by the Company.Competencies -

Strong academic record (graduated with a 2:1 or above)
Strong GCSE/A-levels or equivalent
Very good understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook and particularly Excel is vital
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Strong mathematical and IT skills
Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Attention to detail
Able to communicate to individuals at all levels
Good team working skills
Time management
Honesty and discretion
Behave in line with our values
Willing to work extra to meet deadlines and when the business needs require itDesirable -

Working towards recognized accountancy qualification or desire to begin studying ACCA/CIMA
Experience working in a similar role, particularly for a residential house builder
Knowledge of the housebuilding industry
Experience using COINS (ERP system)
Good understanding of business
