About the apprenticeship
You will be fully trained and supported. Below is a summary of what you will be doing:
Working in a clean room, ensuring that microbial contamination is kept to a minimum to allow the aseptic filling of sterile products.
Carrying out activities in preparation, manufacture, filtration, filling and cleaning, ensuring adherence to established procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Health & Safety.
Completing all documentation correctly, following “Right First Time” approach and preparing and operating equipment to manufacture aseptic products following good cleanroom practices.
Carrying out specific cleaning routines within the clean room and processing consumable items.
Attending team meetings, completing training and reading documentation in order to keep up to date with GMP and Industry Standards.
Ensuring that training activities are recorded and that no duties are carried out without being appropriately trained and working in and supporting other Manufacturing areas as per business needs.

You will be fully supported via your Apprentice Support Bubble consisting of your supervisor, your buddy, the Head of Learning & Development, the Manufacturing Training Lead and your workplace assessor.

SHIFT PATTERN: 6am-2pm and 1.30pm-9.30pm Monday to Friday on alternate weeks.
BREAKS: 30 minutes for lunch / dinner, plus 10 minute break.
HOLIDAYS: 25 days per annum, plus Bank Holidays.
Minimum age of 18 as of 6th September 2021, due to shift systems and location
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Dextrous with good hand-eye co-ordination
PC-literate and able to easily navigate Windows-based systems
Flexible and able to understand quality procedures
Willingness to learn
Enthusiastic and passionate
Hard-working and committed
Great time-keeping and attendance record
Good standard of hygiene
Willing to wear appropriate work-wear in clean room, eg gown, mask etc
Able to communicate effectively
Able to work independently as well as being a great team player
High degree of alertness
High attention to detail
Willing to work a shift system
We have a good track record for taking on apprentices after they have completed their programme. There are lots of career paths available so we will always endeavour to reward those that perform with permanent positions for roles that are available at the time.
Good educational standard of numeracy and literacy (minimum D in Maths and English)
