Within Organisational Development and Improvement (OD&I), we are committed to delivering a service that supports our staff to reach their potential and in turn deliver the best possible care for our patients.

We work alongside teams at all levels in LCH including our Board and front-line staff using a wide range of OD&I development work. We're a small friendly team working in fast paced creative environment. We have a broad portfolio of work that we work together to deliver including leadership development, statutory and mandatory training, learning and development, apprenticeships, quality improvement, coaching and much more! The administration is critical to this work.

Your role

The OD&I Administrator is a key role, providing administration support for the team on a range of organisational development and quality improvement workstreams. You will manage the OD&I inbox providing great customer service to all LCH colleagues. You will organise and co-ordinate several events including statutory and mandatory training courses, OD&I development workshops, briefing sessions, and our leadership development training programmes.

You will also support with the managing of communications on our intranet pages and social media platforms for the OD&I project work that is delivered by the team. Overall, your duties will require you to have a high level of organisation skills allowing you to manage core administrative duties whilst using your initiative to problem solve. Some challenging deadlines will occur when your ability to prioritise and flex your approach to different work streams will be called upon.

In a customer focussed culture you will need to demonstrate to colleagues working within our team behaviours that are aligned with "How We Work". This will show to all with whom we work, that the key ingredient to creating a positive culture it is not just about what you do, but how you do it. You will be supported by your line manager and the rest of the OD&I team and will enjoy developing your skills within the team where there will be plenty of opportunity for growth.

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The level of check required is dependent upon the position that you have applied for. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost from your salary. There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
