22.5 hours per week (12 month Fixed term)

The successful applicant will be a Registered Nurse who is passionate about education.

The post holder will explore new and innovative ways of providing health care placements for students using virtual technology and processes.

The post holder will be a dynamic and creative individual who thrives on being involved in new initiatives.

You will work within an established team and contribute to the development and maintenance of quality assured virtual placements for pre-registration nursing students and allied health professions, and other learners within the South Tees Area.

The successful applicant will spend the majority of their time working closely with subject experts and clinical educators across all areas of clinical practice, supporting virtual placements for students to achieve their learning outcomes in practice.

The virtual practice placement facilitator will contribute to the delivery of a high quality virtual/simulation placement experiences.

It is crucial that the successful candidate can demonstrate effective teaching and assessment strategies.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010
