Are you interested in a very exciting new development that will change the way we care for patients who are admitted?

If so, we have a pilot scheme to undertake rapid Covid tests in Wythenshawe ED department, and we need your help.

During the pilot, full training will be given however, it would require basic / intermediate IT Skills.

The shifts would be 8am-8pm and there would be shifts available 7 days per week

Experience / Requirements
  • Appropriate Science NVQ level 3, HCS Apprenticeship Level 2, Certificate of Achievement Part 1, or equivalent experience and/or completed competency documentation
  • Experience of laboratory processes and IT systems.
  • Support the maintenance of ISO UKAS requirements for the department.
  • To ensure a safe working environment for staff and visitors in accordance with local and national Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, bringing areas of risk to note to senior staff as required
