Established on 1 October 2018, Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is the only Special Health Authority within NHS Wales. Welsh Language Translation Apprentice, Welsh Language Services

A new, exciting, time-limited role has been created at HEIW to develop as a translator and to gain a Level 4 Advanced Apprenticeship qualification in Welsh interpretation and translation with Gower College Swansea.

BAND: 2 (on £7.42 per hour, 75% top of band 2.)

A new, exciting, two-year fixed term role has been created within HEIW to develop as a translator.

There is an increasing demand for translating different materials into Welsh. As a member of the team, you will deal with this demand as well as receive guidance, support, and mentorship from HEIW's Welsh Language Team to provide a specialist translation service from English to Welsh and Welsh to English. The post holder will assist in the day-to-day operational work of the team which will include liaison with staff across HEIW.
