Mental health services
  • We provide a wide range of treatment and support to young people, adults and older people experiencing mental illness both as inpatients and within the community. This includes treatment in secure and specialised settings.

Community health services
  • Our diverse range of community health services provide support and treatment to both adults and children. We deliver this care in community hospitals, health centres, GP surgeries and in people's homes.

Learning disabilities services
  • We provide crisis support and inpatient services and our community learning disability teams work in partnership with local councils to provide assessment and support for adults with learning disabilities.

Social care
  • We provide personalised social care support to people with a range of needs, including people with learning disabilities or mental illness, supporting people to live independently.

COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Programme

Band 6 Registered Healthcare Professional

Vaccination Centre - Gainsborough

Salary - £31,365 - £37,890 per annum pro rata

Hours - Full Time and Part Time Flexible Hours Available

Shift Patterns - The mass vaccination programme runs across an 8am-8pm, 7 day a week service. The shift patterns available are; 8am-8pm, 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm.

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) is recruiting for the vaccination programme across Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership and Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System, delivered in partnership with EPUT. The Trust is delighted to have been appointed as one of the three lead providers in the region and is committed to ensuring that the vaccine is delivered to the public at the highest standard.

We are therefore seeking healthcare professionals across Essex and Suffolk to be at the forefront of the local fight against coronavirus - you could be part of it!

The role forms an integral part of mass vaccination delivery and is an excellent opportunity for individuals to be a part of a new, exciting service and to develop their skills in a new area of work.

We are open to flexible working opportunities and therefore would consider applicants who wish to apply on a full time or part time basis working flexibly via our Bank Bureau, or alternatively on a fixed term contract with set shifts, an annualised hours contract or even a secondment basis. If you are interested in working on a secondment basis, have you considered a part time secondment where you continue to work in your substantive role part time and also support the vaccination programme part time?

As a Registered Healthcare Professional working in one of EPUT's vaccination centres, you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of covid-19 vaccinations to the local area. You will undertake activities such as clinical assessment and drawing up of the vaccine, but as the Band 6 worker within the team you will also be responsible for additional duties such as; offering specialist advice as required during reviews of patients with complex medical histories, supervising safe vaccine delivery and drawing up procedure, and ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes with the highest level of care at the vaccination centre, whilst adhering to policies and procedures. All online and face-to-face training (where applicable) will be available prior to commencing work in the vaccination centres, meaning that refresher training will be provided if you feel it is necessary. You will also receive additional support from the Clinical Manager at the vaccination centre as and when required.
