We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse (D Grade) to join our Urology & Neurosciences Unit based at our main Hospital (London, W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer of£36,527 - £39,475 per annum. Job Description

To be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and service to the patients.

Job Type:Permanent & Full Time

Shifts:37.5 hours per week, Days/Nights/Weekends

Duties & Responsibilities
  • To maintain accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care within the framework of nursing incorporating the Named nurse initiative.
  • To coordinate the patients discharge arrangements in accordance with the London Clinic discharge policy.
  • To promote a patient focused approach to care in collaboration with all relevant health professionals.
  • To educate patients and their carers as required where a need has been identified.

Skills & Experience
  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • At least 12 months UK Hospital experience within Urology/Nephrology/Neurosciences preferred
  • Experience within Cannulation, Venepuncture, Tracheostomy Care & Male Catheterization preferred
  • To be able to prioritise own workload effectively and that of other appropriately
